On the night sky of 1st Dec

I'm having my sem break now but am stranded at home with no place to go.Sigh! My laptop and the internet are the only hope for me to interact with the outside world I guess. Hence, since I'm so free, I finally can do what I used to do when I was bumming at home last time -Staring at the sky.It may sound boring to you but that is one thing I love to do ever since I was as young as 4. Taking pictures of sunset and sunrise is one thing I'm so going to do with my DSLR if I ever get one...LOL! Now even before I got a DSLR, I've used my Nikon L16 to snap something just now and I felt the urge to blog after I saw something in the sky just now...
Just want to share this with all of you, what I snapped shot from my window in the evening just now....

This is sunset from my window...It's way beautiful than what you see in picturesThis is 10mins later after the previous picture..How fast the orange light faded?
It's like life, good things always remained for a short span of time including life itself on this Earth...So shouldn't we appreciate our family members, friends and including whoever that we are in love with and of course life itself? They resemble sunsets, short, beautiful and if not appreciated, is gone...Some may say that the sun will rise again after every sunset, but, can we guarantee that tomorrow's sunset will be the same?
Later I saw something in the night sky...Not camera trick whatsoever...Look closely! It's 2 stars and the moon...The star on the right appears to be dimmer when I took this picture..For you to have a closer look..Again the right star is dimmed...But no worries thanks to missmynx, she share with me a brighter right star picture..There you go...Brighter right star and no camera trick or photoshop involved..
It's like God winking to us and smiling from heaven huh? That was one of the things that came to my mind...
Again this smiley-face did not remained for a long time in the dark night sky...It faded as time passes just like sunsets and it reassures me that things do not remained as what they are forever.
Actually there are plenty of things that zapped through my mind when I saw this but I don't think I want to reveal it here but one song rings loudly in my mind is Don McLean's : Vincent
Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and gray
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colors on the snowy linen land
Now I understand
What you tried to say to me,
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free.
They would not listen;
They did not know how.
Perhaps they'll listen now.
Starry, starry night
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in violet haze
Reflect in vincent's eyes of china blue.
Colors changing hue
Morning fields of amber grain,
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand.
Now I understand
What you tried to say to me,
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free.
They would not listen;
they did not know how.
Perhaps they'll listen now.
For they could not love you
But still, your love was true.
And when no hope was left inside
On that starry, starry night
You took your life as lovers often do.
But I could've told you, vincent:
This world was never meant
For one as beautiful as you.
Starry, starry night
Portraits hung in empty halls
Frameless heads on nameless walls
With eyes that watch the world and can't forget
Like the strangers that you've met
The ragged men in ragged clothes.
The silver thorn, a bloody rose
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow.
Now I think I know
What you tried to say to me,
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free.
They would not listen;
They're not listening still.
Perhaps they never will.
It's an old song I know but I really don't know why it rings in my head just now and I'm feeling a bit at the downside.Somehow I'm wondering about something that I have absolutely no idea and probably never will but I know God has it...
